Nature's Principles
Disrupting traditional lactic acid production through new fermentation technologies.
At Nature's Principles, they pioneer the circular production of biobased chemicals by using unique fermentation technologies.
Nature's principles develops a patented fermentation technology that makes it possible to produce L-lactic acid directly from sugar beet, in a up to 30% more cost-efficient process. The lactic acid will be used to produce PLA, the most common bioplastics. Their lactic acid will use up to 500x less water than the conventional production process.

Paques Biomaterials | Natural alternatives to plastic
Plastic is everywhere and from its production to its disposal, plastic has a huge impact on our planet. In nature, plastics break down into small particles called microplastics, which accumulate in the food chain. Planet B.io’s resident Paques Biomaterials uses a variety of residual streams to create a biobased and biodegradable alternative to plastic: Caleyda®.
